Refund Policy

Refund and cancellation guidance for customised industrial machines, chemicals and technical service engagements.

1. Overview

Simsan Enterprises manufactures and supplies customised industrial equipment, process chemicals and technical services. Because most products and service engagements are configured specifically for each client, refund eligibility depends on the product type, the stage at which a cancellation or dispute arises, and whether a qualifying issue exists. This policy sets out our approach to each category.

2. Customised Machines and Equipment

2.1 Standard Position

Custom UV coating machines, curing systems, spray and dryer solutions and automation equipment are manufactured against approved client specifications. Once design work, material procurement or fabrication has commenced, advance payments may be non-refundable or partially refundable based on work completed and material committed.

2.2 Manufacturing Defect

If a machine is found to have a verifiable manufacturing defect that cannot be rectified within a reasonable period, Simsan Enterprises will either repair the machine, replace the defective component, or discuss appropriate commercial remedies based on the nature and severity of the defect.

2.3 Specification Deviation

If the delivered machine does not conform to the written and agreed specifications, the client must raise a written complaint within 7 days of delivery or installation. Simsan Enterprises will investigate and respond within 10 business days with a proposed resolution.

3. Chemicals, Lacquers and Consumables

3.1 Standard Orders

Chemicals, lacquers, pre coats and consumables supplied correctly and to specification are generally not eligible for return after dispatch due to the nature of chemical handling and storage.

3.2 Supply Error or Quality Issue

If a verified supply error (wrong product, incorrect quantity, packaging defect) or confirmed quality failure is identified, the client must notify us in writing with photographic evidence and batch details within 5 days of receipt. Eligible claims will result in replacement supply or credit, not a cash refund unless agreed otherwise.

4. Service, Installation and Training Fees

Fees for installation, commissioning, PLC/HMI programming, operator training and technical visits are reviewed based on: work completed at the time of cancellation, resources deployed, travel costs incurred, and the notice period provided. Service fees are generally non-refundable once work has commenced. Partial refunds or credits may be offered at Simsan's discretion where a service engagement is cancelled early with adequate notice.

5. How to Submit a Refund or Dispute Request

All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@simsanuvcoatings.com with the following details:

  • Invoice number or order reference
  • Product or service description
  • Nature of the issue or reason for request
  • Supporting evidence (photos, batch numbers, written record)

6. Review Timeline

Refund and dispute requests are reviewed within 7 to 10 business days after all required information is received. We may request additional information or a site inspection before a determination is made. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method or agreed business account within 10 business days of approval.

7. Exclusions

Refunds are not applicable in the following situations:

  • Change of mind after production has commenced.
  • Damage caused by incorrect operation, misuse or unauthorised modification.
  • Failure to prepare the site, utilities or access as required for installation.
  • Claims submitted beyond the notification periods stated in this policy.
